1. Application of silane coupling agent in luminescent materials

The effect of silane coupling agent on the performance of solar cell aluminum paste was studied and analyzed. When the silane coupling agent was 2.5%, the surface tension of the organic carrier could be reduced from about 30 mN/m to 25.69 mN/m, which improved the aluminum paste. The adhesion between powder particles and between the aluminum film and the silicon wafer can reduce scratches and ashing, thereby reducing the contact resistance of the aluminum electrode from 0.60 Ω to 0.19 Ω.

Some scholars have focused on the luminescent properties of glass, which is stilbene 3 doped lead-tin-fluorophosphate glass modified by silane coupling agent. The modified SnF2 powder containing stilbene 3 was incorporated into the low-melting lead-tin fluorophosphate glass to obtain a stilbene 3-doped organic/inorganic hybrid glass, which has better projection and uniformity. 2. Application of silane coupling agent in nanoscale materials and composite materials


Composite materials are more and more popular due to their excellent properties, but the inherent shortcomings of composite materials cannot be eliminated. By adding silane coupling agents, composite materials with better performance can be prepared. Adding coupling agents to nanomaterials acts like a reinforcement, which can significantly improve material properties. For example, we have products like methyltrichlorosilane.


The nano-SiO2 emulsion was prepared by sodium silicate, the particle size was controlled by ammonium chloride, and then SiO2/NR composite was prepared by blending with natural latex. The nano-SiO2 treated with a silane coupling agent is used to uniformly dispersed in the composite material and has good mechanical properties. In addition to inorganic composite materials, silane coupling agents are also added in the preparation of nano-zinc oxide. The silane coupling agents used are KH550, KH 560, and KH 570 to modify the nanometers. The research shows that the modification effect of silane coupling agent KH570 Well, after the modification, the surface of the nano-powder is coated with KH 570, and the crystal form does not change significantly but the dispersibility becomes better.
